iRiver is the Korean company the developed the original Iriver IMP-100/RioVolt. The iRiver is available in Korea only and the RioVolt is being sold in the US, under the Rio Name. The Original Iriver/Riovolt is known as the first and currently only CD based mp3 player that accepts firmware upgrades. As well as the only mp3/CD player that has perfect resume, no gaps between tracks and the ability to support, win amp style .m3u play lists. The Iriver 2 player, looks suspiciously like the Riovolt only all silver and a little lighter.
