      Disadvantages

I purchased this CD player last week and I am very pleased! I did thorough research on all Panasonic players currently on the market and decided that this one would be best for my needs. My needs include: Superior sound quality, Portability, Small size and Light weight, Anti-Shock, Remote Control, and Battery-Life. The SL-CT470 fulfills all of my needs more than adequately. It has pure deep sound, good bass with Equalizing XBS, Live, and Train (handy for all the tube rides to work). The earphones are good quality and fit comfortably, although I do have an extra set of expensive headphones of my own that I can use if I like. It is incredibly light, and tiny, the size of a CD literally, and has an aluminum top cover. And with it taking only two triple A batteries it really keeps down on the weight. It is super slim and flat appearing as well, easily and weightlessly fits in my coat pocket. It has 40 second Anti-Shock, which is great, definitely does not skip. I tested this out on the tube and by tap dancing. No problems! It has a well featured remote control device, small and discreet, matching matte silver to the player. For battery life, it has 50 hours of playback time on two triple A batteries. It also comes with an AC adapter, and a small external battery pack that takes Double A batteries which is great for the times you only have those on hand! All in all I am very happy with my purchase. My last CD player was a Panasonic as well, I know I will always purchase this brand and recommend it to others. In my opinion and that of everyone else I speak to, Panasonic is widely recognized as the best in portable CD players. My last Panasonic still has excellent sound quality, it is nearing the ten year mark, and I've never had one problem with it. The only reason I purchased a replacement was for size and portability (anti-shock) as my first Panasonic was built before anti-shock was available! I hi
ghly recommend this player to anyone in the market for a good quality and stylish CD Player!
