... purchase this brand and recommend it to others. In my opinion and that of everyone else I speak to, Panasonic is widely recognized as the best in portable CD players. My last Panasonic still has excellent sound quality, it is nearing the ten year mark, and I've never had one problem with it. I purchased this CD player last week and I am very pleased! I did thorough research on all Panasonic players currently on the market and decided that this one would be best for my needs. My needs include: Superior sound quality, Portability, Small size and Light weight, Anti-Shock, Remote Control, and Battery-Life. The SL-CT470 fulfills all of my needs more than adequately. It has pure deep sound, good bass with Equalizing XBS, Live, and Train (handy for all the tube rides to work).
