I got this as a Christmas present from an elderly relative, needless to say that they aren't in the "ipod" generation! Although I didn't think much of it when I got it as I'm used to ipods it is actually quite a good CD player, I like to get all my 90's CD's out and play them on it, they seem to be better than on an ipod!
The 2 downsides of the product are (1) its overall appearance does seem a little dated when it is compared to not only ipods but other CD players on the market. I particularly do not like the silver bit in the middle of all the black I think it makes it look a little cheap. The other downside (2) is when I'm exercising - I do quite a lot of jogging in the mornings and not only is it a little too big to take with me but also when I am running the songs I'm playing tend to jump and I can't help but thinking that I may be damaging it!
All in all I would say it is good to have at home or maybe in the car to play old CD's and feel all nostalgic but if you do want something for exercising like I do, something smaller and something that will play a lot more songs than I think the ipod would be the better alternative - and at a similar price for some of the small ones or even a second hand one!
