Sony are well known for the best quality products and ths dej615 cd player is no exception.
I got this as a present from my mum for my christmas and am very pleased with it, the sound is great, even at high volume you can get crisp tunes as you go about your business.The unit did cost £89.99 but was from John Lewis so i'm sure you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
You get a small unit that connects to the earphones that lets you change volume and song without having to rumage for the cd player.
Also if you have to stop it too talk to someone it'll remember where you stopped so you can carry on listening where you finished of as long as you don't open the cd lid.The battery once fully charged will last aroung four hours, enough for anyone.
I suppose it costs a bit more than others because it has 'jog proof' technology which should save it if you should drop it, which works well as its slipped out of my hands a few times.
The sound is superb and you get all the features you need for playing the best tunes, the price is more than others players but you have that life saving jog feature included, Highly recommended.
