rusty666 Sharp MD MT270 H: ... bought this Mini-Disc player/recorder after having several CD players that all broke after less than a year. When I got it I was surprised at how small it was, and also happy that it didn?t have a compartment for the battery sticking out the top. Instructions I found recording my first Mini-Disc very easy all I had to do was follow the step-by-step instructi...

masternewt Sony MD Walkman MZ-N505
... I bought my Sony MZ-N505 about a month ago and WOW!, I just don't know how I lived with out it before, now I know other people say this but I really do mean it!. I owned a MZ R55 and I thought that was great and if truth be said I still think the sound and definition takes some beating and unless you have a very very very keen ear you will not tell the difference between most md players, well unless you go for a cheaper brand like Goodman's or JMC and then you will!. No the real benefits are in the extra's that this amazing bit of kit does; I have had endless fun downloading stuff from the net on to mini disks and boy oh boy can you squeeeeez it on, at a...

The+Duke Sony Net MD Walkman MZ-N510/L
... had a MiniDisc recorder for ages, but fancied a change despite being a bit low on funds. I wanted something which didn't take me eighty minutes to fill a full MiniDisc and I have an inherent, but probably illogical, distrust of mp3 players due to one too many hard drive failures in the past and modern mp3 players are nothing more than glorified hard drives in fancy boxes. However, someone was obviously smiling upon me and I happened to win a brand new MiniDisc recorder in a competition. Given the size of the MZN510, the box is surprisingly large but once you open it up, you see why. Not only is the MZN510 in the box, but there's the obligatory instruct...

... you?ve read any of my recent reviews then you?ll know that I was lucky enough to win a lot of Sony electrical equipment recently. I am at the moment in the process of getting ciao to add them and then to rating them. And that brings me to this review on the Sony MZ R700 Mini-disc player. To be honest with you a mini-disc isn?t something I particularly wanted, or in fact needed, but when you win something it suddenly becomes something you need. The unit is pretty small I believe, though most mini-disc players are really. It is also very light which is an improvement on some of the older models previously p...
