Sony MD Walkman MZ-R91 ... have been a fan of portable audio for as long as I can remember, and now long gone are the days I would walk around with my personal cassette player in my pocket. When I discovered minidisc I was over the moon. A medium which has both excellent sound quality and a very small size. I saw it as a new way to enjoy music on the move, and its skip-free! I recently upgraded from an older model to the MZ-R91. I know that it is now an older model itself but it still looked the part, which is what attracted me to it. The recorder has a metallic blue finish with an oval LCD display in the centre, and is about the size of a minidisc but a little thicker. The inline remote that... Sony MD Walkman MZ-N1 ... was the owner of an old sony MD recorder for close to 5 years. Sadly this product died recently and thanks to an extended warranty I was able to get a new machine upto the value of the original. The MZ-N1 was the only choice. I have been the proud owner of this for 6 months now. Magnesium body, solid door mechanism and tiny in size compared with my old brick shaped recorder. In the box you get an excellent remote control, optical lead for home stereo recording, rechargeable battery and dry battery pack. The rechargeable's run for about 60 hrs so it is unlikely you will make much use of the screw on battery pack. A nifty leather wallet is also included althou... Sony MD Walkman MZ-E900 ... Sony MZ E900 is very small. Its as thick as 2 or three minidiscs and the almost the same flat area. Im fortunate to test this for a few weeks whilst my other one is in for repair. The main unit is like solid metal. Feels and weighs like solid metal which is useful because I know its not going to break like the last few minidiscs Ive had. Most of the functions are accessed from the remote. PROS Looks and feels great. Probably the best looking minidisc player ever. Available in black/blue and silver, and silver. Slim, fits into any pocket. LP2/LP4 playback.
