This is in the incorrect opinion slot but if you look, there isn't a slot for this model and this is the following model from the SJ-MR200. I received some money for Christmas so I purchased a mini disc player. I have some reasoning to write this opinion in this slot, because I originally owned a SJ-MR200, It was the first mini disc player I had owned so I was new to the world. The box it came in stated that it was the lightest and smallest mini disc player in the world at the time of being produced. Oh boy it was, it weighed less then nothing. I used it as and when I liked until my father accidentally stood on it. I returned it to the staff at Currys and it ... Read the complete review

Now, there's alot to like about this little fellah. Panasonic has done something out of the ordinary and like no other player seen before, it's used a touch screen control. Also it has one of the funkiest in-line remote controls that i've ever seen, which also has a cool "blue" backlit screen. It offers you a full range of editing functions and titling tracks is very easy, recording is a ver simple two button process. In term of DSP there are S-XBS(bass boost) and Train (muted high-end) modes. There is an absence of full control on the main unit, which means that sometimes you will need to use the remote. I found that when you have ... Read the complete review

It was just sitting there, somewhat inconspicuous, on Dixon's shelf beside the Sony and Sharp models when I was looking for a present for my daughter for Christmas. Now me, if I'm buying something, I look at the specifications and weigh those against price before deciding. Teenagers (and probably younger) add the "it's got to look cool before anything else" factor so she spied the Panasonic SJ-MR200 portable MD recorder and said "let's look at that nice little one there, the rest all look boring". So, it's smaller and thinner than most, has an excellent battery system with playback up to 38 hours, all the usual ... Read the complete review

The Panasonic SJMR-200 minidisc player boasts a sleek design, is super lightweight and is extremely user friendly. I bought this product about 3 weeks ago, and was told it was both the smallest and lightest minidisc on the market- and upon purchasing this I could see why. It is almost weightless in your pocket, and is very durable (I dropped it twice and it remans undamaged!).It is tiny, and hosts many great features other minidiscs do not even come close to matching. It has a great navigation pad, with feathertouch technology (no pressure needed to carry out functions). The minidisc both records and plays with crystal clear quality, and offers noise reduction ... O.K. Here is the deal: Panasonic has released their SJ-MR200. This is the worlds smallest and lightest portable MD recorder on the market as of september 2000. I personally own one and think that it is amazing. I paid only 185 pounds and got a optical cable (which does not come with the package) and 5 blank MDs. All I can do is recommend you do the same as me and go down Tottenham Court Road in London and just barter with everyone. I did and got one of the best deals I have ever seen. I don't regret a single penny I spent on that machine. ... Read the complete review
