MT821 weight 79g can play 13 hours (excluding the AA battery) or 8 hours recording time. With the AA batteries can play totally 26hours. 24 bits digital bass sound. digital line in for recording. LCD remote control screen. Very easy to use, even this product have already release a year ago. However, it is not many different between 821 and 831. But the price is half of the 831. So you can think of buying this product in the shops. You can edit a song's name in your MD from MT821, erase, move and disc name is very easy to control. Have random mode, repeat mode and random repeat mode to choose. The sound I promise they are a lot better than Sony. ... Read the complete review

I purchased a sharp MD-MT821H portable minidisk recorder about months ago, and I think its the best thing since sliced bread. I use it all the time, I don't even play CD's now let alone cassettes. It offers 24bit ATRAC recording, with the option of digital/optical recording from compatible sources. Its compact, and comes with a 'remote control' in between the player and the ear phones, allowing you to control the player with out getting it out of your pocket while you are on the move. It has the capability for upto 16 hours continuous playback too. I bought it for £220 back then but I have seen it in shops for £180 now, if ... Read the complete review

what else can i say except wow, this has to be the sexiest md player/recorder on the market. it is packed full of features and the playback and record times are phenominal. The actual unit itself is small sleek and silver, it comes equipt with an inline remote and head phones both of which match its high build quality. The recording sound quality is flawless and the ability to set the record level digitally is very useful. I would highly recommend this product to everybody on earth who values their music, it will do justice to anything u play, it looks sexy and sounds even sexier ! ... Read the complete review
