I got my first Minidisc about three years ago when they where still quite a new product, and this minidisc player is my second player after dropping my first unit one too many times. Both my players to date have been Sharp, and I have been impressed with both the quality of the build, sound quality and ease of use. What do you use it for? It’s great for music on the move – at roughly the same size of your average personal cassette player, it’s smaller than a personal CD player and easily slips into your back pocket. It plays and records Mini-Disks, that goes without saying… I like this model; I was looking around for some time before I choose this. It’s packed full of every thing you need to play and record your own personal compilations. I really wanted one because I was feed-up with haling my over-sized CD player about. I live in London, so spend a lot of time traveling too and from work on the tube. So I like to listen to music to fill the gap!!! i was looking around for a budget md player and i found the sharp md-sr60 at a great price. the md-sr50 was tempting but for not much more, you do get quite a few extra features. it is quite compact, has all of the usual md features and has so far been reliable and the sound has been excellent. the remote is simple and convenient, and fortunately for me (as someone whose ears are a bit oddly formed), the unit came with overhead headphones (as opposed to in-the-ear type). i haven't got a digital output on my cd player so i have been unable to really test the sound quality, but even via an analog connection, the sound is superb. the ...
