I have been avid user of portable sounds systems for many years now and have always had the latest gadget on the go. So you can imagine my delight when I was presented with my first MD portable player as a gift for Christmas 1999. I normally become very bored with the gadgets as they jump, skip and run on batteries the size of Fort Knox and here I thought I had another that would land up in a box somewhere gathering dust.
