After using an MP3 player sometime I have to admit I had become somewhat biased against minidisc playres. I mean, they still use great big discs! Firstly I must stress, you CAN copy MP3's across! I have filled up many discs making copies of the mp3's I own, all legitimate of course ;) I've never had any problems with them not copying to the MD unit via the USB link, works every time. Oh dear, what have you done Sony? I've a huge collection of LEGITIMATE MP3's and wanted a solution to listening on the move. Excellent piece of kit..... - Advantages: Net-MD, 5 hours on one mini disc - Disadvantages: OpenMG Jukebox, NiCad, not NiMH
