I recently bought this MD player while on holiday. I have found that it is a good device with good audio quality. The unit is fairly small and (excluding the battery compartment) is only slightly bigger than the MZ-R90 + 91!!
The player is designed for use with AA size batteries which because of their HUGE size means the player needs an extra bulge on the back to whack the battery into!
My other complaint is of the remote which doesnt have a LCD screen which is a nice touch on some other models, however, i can put up with paying less for a worse remote.
The unit has 2 output(headphone) sockets, one with remote port. It has a mic socket so you can put your headphones in and record your mates to wind the up. It also has a digital/optical input.
It is also available in 3 colours, silver, dark silver (black) and blue which I bought mine in. The unit is fairly durable aswell, as I found out when i caught my foot in the recharging lead and sent the unit flying across the room - only a small scratch was on it!!!
Because I bought mine on holiday, I only paid £130 for it, the MZ-R90 was only £150, so I saved £70 on the UK price!!
