I bought one of these MD players a couple of years ago now and it's still going strong and sounding as good as ever. Everything about the features and asthetics smacks of class and sophistication. However the headphones have caused me problems. I've had to replace two sets because the thin wire has worn through to the metal and then ... Read the complete review

I recently got one of these these lovely things for my birthday (awwww) and having sneaked a look at the receipt, I can tell you that perfection now comes at quite a reasonable price. The sound is brilliant, even when you're recording from the headphone output of a computer - it's a good way to make copies of all your MP3s without ... Read the complete review

I must be getting old, I remember cassette tapes, you know those small plastic things that seemed to implode at the most in-opportune moments and normally your favourite album as well. They had their good points too, very small, light and easy to use with the ability to make your own recordings and that was the killer feature. For a while ... Read the complete review

MP3 players, every one is talking about them, they're are the centre of cool and controversy (free music on the net). But are they just a fad? Will the tape and minidisk win the personal stereo war? Read on to find out... The first thing I noticed was the small size of the player. Very compact with lots of features. So initially I ... Read the complete review

After a brief flirtation with portable mp3, I decided that they just weren’t for me. I loved the small size, portability, and all important 'Ooooh' factor, but I was far from thrilled with the mediocre sound quality; lack of affordable media; and because of this, cramped capacity. I was then in the market for a portable MiniDisc ... Read the complete review

The Sony MZ-R90 is the best, but most expensive minidisc recorder available at £249.99. There are cheaper alternatives that are almost as good but if you have £250 to spend at your discretion, then this is the minidic recorder to get. It has all the usual features, and extras including Mega Bass options and the ability to edit the tracks ... Read the complete review

This has to be the undoughted knig of all mini disc players it has all the features of any CD player and more it has the smoothest design and it is the smallest one you can get. you can easily record and erase track and even put in the name of each track or the name of the whole CD. There is a time and date function and many other helpful ... Read the complete review

All i have to say is this minidisc player/recorder is the best one available on the market. I had always wanted a minidisc player but i was reluctant in purchasing one since they are so expensive and initially the recorders weren't actually that portable so i held out until now. I was nearly tempted by the MZ R55 but decided to wait a ... Read the complete review

This is one of the most expensive things that I have bought for myself. I am totally satisfied that my money was worth it. I think that this the lightest and sexiest of all MD recorders is wonderful. Its construction is by hand and its sturdiness is truly supreme the only cheap bit on it is the battery cover that is plastic (for obvious reasons). ... Read the complete review

I bought this rather expensive MD player/recorder expecting high quality. Which to my pleasure i recived from my MZ-R90 MD recorder. This is the smallest MD recorder i have ever seen it literaly fits in the palm of your hand, but just cause its small dont think that the battery time is small. In fact this little MD recorders Nickle metal ... Read the complete review
