Advantages: Good Long Play, Simple operating system, Easy to use

Disadvantages: Bad Headphones

The MZR-900 is a very good minidisc player/recorder. You can change the recording quality and the long play recording can record in stereo sound for 320 minutes on one normal minidisc, which is a very good accomplishment. The headphones are not so good but the remote is relatively easy to use and the tracks are quite quick and easy to label. You can use the special functions on this minidiscman to synchronise the recordings so that you can leave out the awkward pauses before the track starts. You can also transfer track names and sound settings if you are using an optical lead.
All in all the MZR-900 is a good minidisk that will fulfil all expectations. However it is quite pricey at around £230.
