Advantages: MDLP, Back Lit Remote, Small

Disadvantages: NONE, NONE, NONE

This little devil or a unit was first bought to my attention at a local dixons store in the south west UK. I have always wanted one and the salesman told me it was 'the best one around' so I purchased it. Since then I have enjoyed not only the walks to university every morning but also the added function of being able to copy songs I have downloaded from the Internet. Not many will know that a simple PC and headphone socket can provide a simple solution to the costly MP3 players on the market with their exspensive memory cards! The added funtion of MDLP has enabled me to enjoy hours ok music on a single disk, although the quality is lowered with this I have it 'up' so loud that it makes no difference at all! I also think that the size, colour and shape of this unit make it very sexy, especially with a back lit blue LCD remote control. If your going to buy an MD buy this one, the new sony range does include a .Net kit for transferring MP3's but this does the same job at a lesser price especially when you find Mini Discs for 47p at your local Richer Sounds store! Beautiful Bargain all round! You should expect to pay around £200 for the unit at present but I think it will drop soon as the new range is out.
