Advantages: 320 mins stereo recording
Disadvantages: None I can see
The Sony MZ-R900 minidisc recorder is set to hit UK shores in January 2001. This minidisc recorder is to replace the highly successful Sony MZ-R90. The new minidisc recorder features the newly developed 'MDLP' which makes it possible to record 320 minutes on one MD in stereo. If you are a MD aholic like me, you will probally find this a great advantage, as many MDs will only record 74 - 80 minutes in stereo. With this 'MDLP' recorder, you will be able to fit your favourite music collection on one MD. There have also been improvments aswell from the MZ-R90. One improvement is a quicker track loading time. This is due to the MD recorders memory. I have summarised this product for you so you can make an informed decision.
