Ipod Shuffle 4GB ... to begin with this mess of an electrical product for one thing no screen and that put me off almost straight away. I mean how is it that apple cant develop a screen for this when they can make the storge of a computer fit in the palm of your hand. its just lazy. now i know when you read up about it you see the words "voice operated" hey i did and beleive me when i say big disapoint ment. you dont actually get to say anything its all done by a very dull women. This really ticks my box. The only way of choosing what you listen to is done in 2 ways you can either not choose anything and let it shuffle through or you can select everything by one artist but ... Creative Zen Stone 1 GB pink ... was gifted a 1gb Zen Stone in Pink a couple of years ago after losing my original Zen Micro, and I ve not upgraded since! It s compact in size but will hold up to 500 songs, depending on how long your songs are (mine currently holds around 350) and what format they re in, the zen stone supports MP3, WMA (DRM9) and Audible. It comes with standard white creative in-ear headphones which I like but might not be to everyones tastes. The buttons, though small are easy to use (just like using a mobile phone really) volume up, down and skip back or forward a track and the mp3 charges via your computer using the mini usb cable that comes with it, simple! Sony NWZX1060B X Series 32 GB ... new Sony X series is a lovely piece of equipment, with a 3 inch OLED screen, the colours are bright and clear, and the sound is Sony s usual high quality. The greatest addition to this new set is that of noise cancelling technology, using tiny microphones set in the (included) headphones most ambient noise can be removed leaving you with a crisp listening experience. Having used it on the bus and in school, I can tell you it does actually work, and surprisingly well. The touch screen is responsive and the icons are large and easy to select.
