Apple iPod classic 160 GB ... until recently I had refrained from jumping on the Ipod bandwagon. Having been quite happy with alternative MP3 players. When my 16GB MP3 player gave up the ghost after only 4 months, I finally gave in and purchased the Ipod Classic 160GB. It is the best MP3 player I have bought and I am now able to store my entire music collection on it. (250+ albums!) I am an Ipod covert and I doubt I will ever buy anything else in the future, when something evenyually happens to the one I have now. The storage capacity is great for music lovers like me!! Archos 605 WiFi 160 GB ... ve had mine for nearly a year now and use it most days on the train. As a video player its almost unbeatable, due to the range of video formats it plays (including MPEG 2, VOB, and transport stream files with the optional Cinema pack) and the quality and resolution of its screen. The battery life is reasonable at around 6 hours for video playback. As an MP3 player its battery life is limited but does have reasonable sound quality. Compared to something like an iPod touch it lacks the range of additional applications and games available, but then its much cheaper.
