Archos 104 6 GB
by Tank1990
The Archos 104 is overall a reasonable MP3 player but considering the ones out now it seems very old and boring.
It has the following features:
0 Is compatible with most audio files.
0 1.5 inch screen
0 Has JPEG viewing capabilities
The software that was given with the product is very poor and ... annoying to use, instead i just used windows media player to sync music files. The sound quality is good but i would reccommend buying different headphones as i found the archos ones to be a bit crap, It doesn't have a radio which is a big disappointment. The player is very light and looks very attractive with its metal front, it also comes with a necklace which allows you to hang it around your neck which makes it very easy to change songs rather than having to get it out of your pocket. The battery life is very good lasting upto about 10-12 hours. Read the complete review |

Sandisk Sansa E270 6 GB
by geek_squad
The Sansa e270's appearance brings sense of style and sophistication, the player's smooth finish colour catches your attention without being an eyesore. The slim and compact player is also constructed quite well and sturdily. Meaning that it is capable of withstanding the occasional knock or drop.
Its menu system is well ... designed and structured, combined with its tactile controls , the player is rather user friendly. In addition to the existing memory capacity that is build in, you can also increase it if required by adding a Micro SD card into the build in card slot. When using the supplied headphones, the sound quality is reasonable with nothing special, with equal balance between the two channels. Upon using an additional pair of headphones, the sound quality had more clarity and accuracy, especially when playing high notes.
It is quite simple and straightforward to access all the functions of the player. Its file transfer speed is quite fast, on average taking a mere 4.5 seconds to transfer 10 megabytes of audio files.
The battery stamina is also quite decent, providing up to 18 and a half hours of continuous audio playback from a full charge which takes around 2 and a half hours.
The display screen is quite small, despite the fact that the player supports both videos and pictures. You might find that you need to lower the resolution/quality of your photo, especially if they are high resolution or of a high megapixel, in order to view them on the player.
