... this for xmas - was considerig going for the ipod nano 8gb, but for the extra £30 odd on the price, thought it was worth getting 10 times the ammount of of storage. Means I can easily fit my fairly large music collection on it, and the ipod classis is much thinner than the older ones of its size, so its hardly much bulkier compared to a nano. Apple iPod classic 80 GB ... ipod 80gb classic was a must buy for me, after owning the 1st generation ipod and an ipod mini, both providing good quality sound and reliability, as well as excellent battery life. The 80gb classic lives up to all the expectations i had, it is easy to use, synchronises quickly with your computer, and sounds great, as well as having pretty decent built in equaliser settings so you can tweak the different frequency levels for different styles and genres of music in real time. Apple iPod classic 80 GB ... big one". As usual the ipod is as gorgeous as ever. My one is in black and, unlike the old generation ipod, the black is matte as opposed to glossy. This is great because it reduces the fingerprints it picks up - note: you still get some prints on it - which keeps it squeaky clean. There are two sizes to choose from: a £160 80GB model and a £230 160GB model. Realistically almost no one is going to fill either with music so Apple have kept the handy video playback feature. The new user interface is more clean and easier to navigate than the older generation ipod. The all-new cover flow - featured on most Apple products - is a bit flawed. I have about 1600 songs... Apple iPod classic 80 GB ... is a perfect Mp3 Player. I love it. The only problem is that it uses Itunes which is probably the worst Mp3 tool there is out there. For example, if you upload your songs and go over to your friends house and you want some of their songs it automatically deletes all of your songs and replaces them. Something to do with anti pirirting technology. It also is really laggy when uploading more than 50 songs at a time. It waits to upload the album pictures but this is pointless as it does not find the tracks online it just uses a default itunes picture.
