Creative Zen Micro ... a competitive world of MP3 playing devices, the Creative Zen Micro for me was a major let down, and one I feel that will not be able to compete in the market for much longer, especially along side the ever changing IPod series. The very basic and dull display is years behind, and it has tendancies to stall a lot when playing back music. The actual design is very large for a 6GB player, you only have to look at the IPod Mini to see the difference. (Plus the IPod Mini has video playback.) The only good thing about the Creative Zen is its controls, which are quite modern in the sense of the touch pads, but this again is something the IPod has always done...standard! W... Apple iPod mini 4 GB Green ... am reviewing the 2nd generation iPod (see picture), even though the 3rd generation are out now. Why?, because I like this shape and siz better than the new one, and you can still buy these on ebay, Amazon etc, at a cheaper price than the new, smaller ones. I bought mine from the Apple store (Meadowhall) just one week before the new ones were released. I had been promising myself a new ipod to ugrade my (2 year old) 2GB black, and I made good on my promise, £129, plus another £15 for a top quality clear protective case.
