This was the first MP3 player I owned, and needless to say it doesn't compare to the size, looks and functionality of modern iPods and expensive MP3 playesr. I still however find myself using this product as it takes a normal battery, rather than being charged via USB. This is really useful for those of us who like to travel without taking a computer with us, or those of you who don't actually have a laptop.
As for the functionality of the device it has a very small memory, this is to be expected for a device of it's age, it can carry more or less 25 songs by today's standards. This of course means you can only carry your latest music and it needs to be updated constantly, but still the playback is high quality, the three buttons are easy to use and there is no need for extra programs, such as iTunes in order to use it. Another point worth mentioning is that WMVs are compatible, therefore if you want to go for the old fashioned model of ripping songs form CDs and then adding them there is no need for a third program to convert them.
Although I have nothing bad to say about it I should point out that I only think this MP3 player is useful if you can get it second hand and for using when travelling without access to a computer, I wouldn't suggest you purchase one for use as your day to day MP3 player, it's definitely better to get a more up to date one with more capacity and features.
Overall this is good for those of you who need a small MP3, and can get it for pennies.
