Great ipod,but why change what works? (Apple iPod classic 120 GB)

okay so i purchased this to replace my old ipod,i thought 120gb for that price,fantastic,so heres what i thought of it

look & feel......
Was love at first sight,just love the all metal finish on the front,makes it look far more elegant than the previous models,and because it is metal its far more durable,having already dropped it once i know. The metal itself makes it far more comfortable to hold in your hand,it sits just right.The one thing i thought i may have had a problem with on this new ipod is its size,it looked origianlly quite chunky,but this isnt the case,its perfect,its a great handheld size.The screen on this is just amazing,its crystal clear and gives a great pic,much better than some similar players(archos) and despite what others say i think the screens just the right size for portability.

Menus.....
These have altered somewhat on the new style,and i for one am not a fan,they seem to have put a lot of emphisis on the album artwork and that just doesnt interest me,you can however turn it so this is off and it goes back to the old style,i just dont see why they would want to alter the default settings that have worked so well,if it aint broke,dont fix it.

Audio/visual.....
it might just be me but having owned one of the previous ipods it seems to me that this one has far better sound quality all round,every aspect seems cleaner,sharper and just far better!! The video for a portable player is 2nd to none,it really is that good,superb quality and very crisp.

Battery life.....
simply astonishing,i watched 2 films back to back and it was only half empty(or half full) really great for those long journeys.

Just a fantastic player!!! really happy with it
