Advantages: Large storage capacity, good battery life
Disadvantages: If your not used to itunes couuld take a while to get used to
Having had various mp3 players before I have found that my iPod classic is definately the best. I had always been a bit indecisive of getting an iPod, mainly because I didn't like itunes, and prefered windows media player, however after getting an iPod as a christmas present I have found out that itunes is not as bad as I thought.
The iPod itself is light, and not too big to carry around in your handbag all day, and it is still not too big to fit in an armband for when your exercising.
The screen is also a pretty good size too, so you can watch films on it too without having to have it too close to your face. Even though a tv may be better for watching tv shows and films on, the iPod is definately adequate for when your on the move, and havent got a tv available. The screen is also a good size to be able to view your photos from, which you can sync up indiviaual albums, or your whole photo collection. itunes will also add full size picture to the iPod's hard drive, so you can copy the files to another pc easily. The games that come pre-loaded to the iPod are not all that amazing, but you can purchase different ones from the itunes store quite cheaply.
This iPod also has the music genius programme, so it will find songs similar to the one you are playing, and create a playlist which you can listen to, or save for a later time.
The cover flow of album art also allows you to quickly flick through to find an alum, although the click wheel also allows this on other menus.
The iPod also has an alarm feature, which you can set for different occasions, or even to wake you up if you have it connected to any speakers. This can be useful as an addition alarmclock.
The 120GB storage allows up to 30,000 songs or 25,00 photos ot 150 hours of video, and the 36 hours of battery life is certainly adeuate for daily use.
So whats in the box? Well the iPod come with a usb cable for charging from your computer, and to sync music with, it also comes with headphone and a quick start guide. Internet connection is necessary to download the latest version of itunes though. It is also useful to have either a wall charger, or a speaker dock that will charge it for you so you don't have to connect it to the computer every time it needs a charge.
So if you like to carry all your songs around with you, and watch the occasion film when out and about, this is definately the iPod for you.
Summary: Great iPod thats hard to fill with music!
