Great Value Simple MP3 Player - no tricks! (Apple iPod classic 120 GB)
Member Name: nilo0901
Advantages: Great value and easy to use Disadvantages: Volume is a little on the quiet side The iPod classic 120 GB is simply great. I have owned a number of iPods down the years but this one certainly serves as best value for money if you are looking for a simple to use MP3 player. The storage capacity is vast. I have had mine for about 5 months and it's still only 2/3s full. And I listen to and download alot of music. The interface is as you would imagine from an Apple product very simple and easy to use. The menus have changed little over the years which is a good thing - if it ain't broke, don't fix it! As with previous models you can sort music by artist, laylist, title, etc... The battery life is also magnificent. I have used mine a good hour or two daily for a week and the battery hasn't run down. And that has been on shuffle mode too which usually eats battery life. My only slight criticism, which is actually a blessing in disguise, is that the volume is not that loud compared to the previous 30 GB model. As I say, this is a blessing as it will damage hearing less so shouldn't really be a criticism. Time will tell whether it will have the usual Apple shelf life or not but for now, I'm really pleased with the purchase. Summary: A good buy for anyone wanting an efficient and simple to use MP3 player
