Advantages: easy to use, clear menu's, large amount of storage

Disadvantages: scratches easily

For so long I wanted to purchase an Apple iPod but could never quite justify spending the money on something which really I could do without.

How wrong I was, since I purchased my iPod it's always with me, it's playing from 7am until 7pm when I'm both at work and travelling between the house and work and then when I'm home it's always on when I'm in the car too.

I've got an iPod classic and have to say that the battery life is fantastic, on a full charge I can play my music for 2 days without recharging and get about 30 hours of music out of it.

If you're new to iPod's then the scroll wheel takes a little adjusting too but other than that everything is self explanatory, the menu's are easy to understand and simple to use, the screen is easily viewable and sound quality is not amazing but it is clear and you can't really have any complaints about it.

The only negative thing I can think about the iPod is that they tend to scratch easily, for this reason if I have it in my pocket I dont keep anything else in there with it as both front and back are prone to scratching.
