Apple doesn't make a specifically prescribed video player, but this hot-off-the-presses new generation of its flagship portable is the closest. With the entry-level capacity now 80Gb, and the top end a seemingly impossible 160Gb (more than most new laptops), it's - in a funny sort of way - the most practical video device ... I first owned an ipod back when the original 2gb nano was released, then moved onto the 30gb and now the 120gb. Its quite simply one of the better mp3 players out there, the size is ideal to have an even balance between the amount of music and videos i want on there. The one thing i will say about the apple an the ipod is the software ... Read the complete review

Buy this if you a massive amount of songs and videos on itunes. I've had mine for months and its still only about a quarter full. The ipod in general is the easiest mp3 player to use. A wheel and a button - an absolutely genius design. Whether it's a menu, playlist or options the wheel scrolls and button executes the highlighted function - ... Read the complete review

I purchased this ipod as my first apple product, after hearing very mixed reviews. I first thought that because of the apple brand name, ipods would be overpriced compared to competitors, but on the high capacity ones such as this, i would say there is no better value for money than the ipod classic. Firstly, it quite an attractive ... Read the complete review

I am a massive fan of the Apple Ipods and have owned an ipod nano, an ipod shuffle and an ipod touch. The trouble is that i always run out of room and like to know that i can fit my entire music collection on my ipod. Design The Ipod classic has a great design. The Ipod Classic is larger than the other ipods due to how much ... Read the complete review

Having deliberated for a long time over what mp3 player to buy i decided on the Ipod classic 120GB mainly for the sheer amount of capacity. For anyone with a large collection of music this is the best, but most expensive option. I have found itunes very easy and straight forward to use and download my cd's, having just got to 1000 cd's i ... Read the complete review

This is the first iPod I've ever owned, which I bought to replace my very trusty 30GB Creative Zen (which died on me rather suddenly!). I always swore that I wouldn't give in to the Apple monopoly - but I have to be honest, although I do find iTunes a pain at times (especially when having to convert my many years of mp3s into ... I bought this to upgrade from my 8GB Second Generation Nano. I knew that eventually I would grow out of just wanting to have a 'heavy rotation' iPod to something that could hold my entire collection along with a couple of videos and games. So far it has been a great addition to my 8GB Nano and my Seinheiser earphones sound a lot better on this ... Read the complete review

Ahh, remember those days where you carted around a portable CD player and a stack of CDs to listen to... on long car journeys my travel bag was always half full of CDs I knew I wanted to listen to. I don't know about anyone else but frankly I was a little weary of it. And then the iPod came along. Shiny. New. Exciting. Before ... Read the complete review

For so long I wanted to purchase an Apple iPod but could never quite justify spending the money on something which really I could do without. How wrong I was, since I purchased my iPod it's always with me, it's playing from 7am until 7pm when I'm both at work and travelling between the house and work and then when I'm home it's always ... iPod classic gives you 160GB of storage capacity, good for up to 40,000 songs, 200 hours of video, 25,000 photos or any combination. And you get up to 36 hours of battery life, so you can keep on rocking for a long, long time. iPod classic uses iTunes to sync the photos you have in iPhoto on a Mac. You can view photo slideshows ... Read the complete review

Why does this Ipod have to be so big? I know it has an amazing amount of storage and so you can't fault it for that, but the large design makes up for it. That is my only complaint with this product and I know that probably seems petty to most people! I have owned many Ipods and I just love the slim and lightweight designs of all but the classic, ... The iPod classic 120 GB is simply great. I have owned a number of iPods down the years but this one certainly serves as best value for money if you are looking for a simple to use MP3 player. The storage capacity is vast. I have had mine for about 5 months and it's still only 2/3s full. And I listen to and download alot of music. The interface is ... Read the complete review

I used to absolutely hate everything about Apple and their Ipod. I used to have a Toshiba Gigabeat 40gb which unfortunately broke. I looked around for ages for something to replace it and this was the only thing with the capacity I needed as I have alot of music. I reluctantly purchased one last December fully expecting it to live up to my ... Read the complete review

I have had my iPod classic for over a year now and i have had no problems with it at all. The battery has been fab, which i found went in the iPod mini. As far as mp3s go the Ipod, in terms of GB to £, is the cheapest going. So obviously it's the best investment. However it's not perfect by any means. Don't get me wrong it's good, but compared to the software on Creative mp3 players its lacking a lot. My main issue with the ipod is the realiability of itunes. Though this maybe becoming less of an ... Read the complete review

I have owned my apple ipod for a month now. I went for a 'classic' as I currently have £30GB of music on my PC. The 120GB of storage attracted me to the classic as my shuffle has only 1GB.
