I consider myself to be a bit of a music type. I have invested a lot into my ever growing music collection, and for me when i travel i dont just want a choice of a few artists, i want all of my artists there. I also prefer to listen to music in albums as opposed to singles. For me there was only one choice, Apple have shown product after product that they build excellent quality, attractive and simply brilliant items, and this is no different. Stop now if you are after apps because you wont find them. This is a music playing device, with the ability to look at videos and photos, and play solitaire if you like, but you daily fix of Angry Birds will not be found here. The biggest plus of this device is the fact it gives you loads of storage... and then some. I applaud you're investment in you music collection if you have too much music for this device, as i find it has enough room for all my music, loads of films and a few photos, with room to spare. The sound quality is excellend, and build quality good, although this did replace my 80gb model, which broke due to my carelessness after two and a half years of daily loyal service. Syncing with iTunes is quick and easy, and the iTunes store is as good if not better than any other for music, film, tv and anything else you may want. The battery will last me for days listening to music a lot, with about four hours of video play on a bright backlight in my opinion. The only holdback is the price, although you wont find another MP3 with this kind of memory in the UK, unless the Zune gets a UK release which seems unlikely. Overall a must for avid music fans, but for the casual listener, maybe try a low storage or a an ipod touch??
