I upgraded to this lovely device just before Christmas of 2011 after my old 8GB Nano was clinging on for dear life after years and years of abuse, and I am thoroughly happy with the outcome.

I remember first getting my Nano and being shocked at the amount of songs an 8GB ipod could hold, so you can imagine my amazement after uploading over 4000 songs and around 10 movies to my new ipod classic and seeing I barely made a dint in the memory and there was still plenty of room for more, more room than necessary in my opinion! ... But why complain.

One of the only negative things I have to say about the ipod classic is the battery life when it comes to watching movies. I am aware other people don't seem to have the same problem, but I find my battery tends to drop quite fast after watching an hour and a half worth of movie, but this, when in comparison to other devices I have used, isn't much of a fault and is quickly made up for when you see the long lasting life in terms of music. I never find myself stranded with no battery.

I have also bought a cover for mine as the mirror back easily scratches when taking in and out of your pocket. I didn't want my new ipod to suffer the scratched fate of my Nano.

Overall I am in love with this device, my day never feels the same if I forget to bring it with me. I highly recommend it to everyone.
