Got this for xmas - was considerig going for the ipod nano 8gb, but for the extra £30 odd on the price, thought it was worth getting 10 times the ammount of of storage. Means I can easily fit my fairly large music collection on it, and the ipod classis is much thinner than the older ones of its size, so its hardly much bulkier compared to a nano. A good choice I feel. Mine gets bashed about a lot and despite a slightly scrathed up screen is still working fine. Occasionaly I had problems but the apple store were happy to just whip out a replacement if nessacary for no charge. And the one I have now works just fine. Battery life is susperb, hardly ever charge it, and have downloaded a few tv programmes to watch - and for a small screen the quality is superb, not to mention the sound too - better than my tv I think! Would recomend as the best value for money ipod avaliable at the moment.
