Advantages: Great build quality, great sound quality, brilliant screen, good battery life, ease of use

Disadvantages: Some find this heavy but I have to say after a few uses you do get used to this

I have had about 10 different MP3 players before my wife ended up just saying to me let's go for the best known maker and get you one to last and I have to say that I have not had a single regret about getting this piece of kit.
The Apple Ipod classic has a fantastic big colour screen, a great control wheel which makes navigation and controls easy and the best thing for me is that this feels like it is well made and thought out at the design stage rather than as they put it together.
The battery life on the Ipod is good (obviously the louder the volume the more battery life you use) and the storage capacity is fantastic with the 80gb allowing you to put your music on and if you are a fan of a lot of different music (groups, singers, etc) then the high storage capacity allows for you to put all of your music on and not have to worry about running out of space (judging this by normal music buyer standards).
If you are a fan of music and looking for a player then this is fantastic and I have since found that setting it to play on shuffle has made me hear some great songs on albums I never got around to listening fully.
There are a number of extra features on this iPod but I am into music and so this is what I use mine for so a, sticking to what I know...love your music and want to stick to just that like me then this is a perfect player for you.
