Advantages: Nice to hold, great music, great battery

I own this ipod, only in the silver version and it has given me a good deal of service for a long time now. I think there are lots of things about this ipod which make it something that I don't tend to leave the house without. Starting with the shape, I think that apple get it just right on this one. The size is just right to hold in your hand and the weight also is very comfortable- I like to feel that I am actually holding something rather than holding an extremely light nano. I find that rather than putting this in my pocket, I often just walk around holding it in my hand.

The screen for me is big enough for most things and I really don't mind even watching films on it. It isn't massive but somehow it is just big enough to watch and I like using it to watch things in bed. The scroll wheel as ever is great and lends itself to the great games that this ipod comes with- solitaire, round pong and the quiz.

I downloaded a sonic the hedgehog game for this ipod and found that to be very good also. I'm not too hot on audio quality but for me the sound quality seems to be great, especially if I use reasonable headphones. Finally, the battery length is great even if you have a long backlight time set.

I hope I don't have to change mine for a long time.
