When it comes to music I don't have a favourite genre, artist, album or anything. I like to listen to a little bit of everything and this is why I love my ipod classic. Based on aesthetics I would prefer an orange ipod nano, however I believe having a large capacity is more important and useful so I won't be trading in my ipod classic anytime soon. I find the 80gb gives me plenty of space for all kinds of music and video.

I have found the ipod classic to be durable, I have had it for almost three years now and have dropped it innumerable times yet it still appears no worse for wear and works just as well as the day it arrived. I have had few problems with my ipod classic, I experienced a problem with the hardrive becoming corrupted somehow, but I simply took it to the genius centre in my nearest apple store and they replaced it.

I don't plan on replacing my ipod classic anytime soon, I would probably choose a classic over the other models as for me capacity is hands down the most important feature.

Summary: Probably my favourite ipod model where functionality is concerned
