I have had my Ipod Classic 80gb for about 4 mnths now and have not had any problems with it at all. This is a lovely pices of kit that is large enough not to be fiddly but also slender enough to keep in your pocket without it annoying you.

The quality of the casing is top notch as you would expect from apple with a lovely silver back and matt black front. The screen is perfect size so you dont end up squinting to choose a song. I would however recomend buying a case for the ipod to protect it from possible scratches and if you accidentally drop it!!!! The menu system is easy to use and and navigating around the ipod is as easy as 1,2,3! the scroll wheel is a delight (but not always with a cover on ) and it rarely lags on processing your request.

I have found the battery life to be ok but not great ... im sure there are other mp3 players out there that will out perform it but it lasts around 6 hours before i have to charge.

I find the ipod is great for watching tv programs and even movies .. i thought the screen would be too small but it is supprisingly adequate!!

The only real gripe is the headphones supplied which most people throw to one side anyway. It would also be nice if Apple supplied a charger but then who can blame them for raking in the cash?

This is a great mp3 player but buyers may want to look at other apple products as they now have cameras integrated too!

Summary: really good .. you wont be dissapointed but search around aswell
