Apple iPod Mini (Apple iPod mini 4 GB)
Member Name: natnatnat
Advantages: Small, sexy and slim Disadvantages: Battery life is very short The mini iPod is a fun mp3 player, and the choice of colours is great. I've owned one since last christmas '04, and at first thought it was fab. However, as other manufacturers have started to bring out similar products, you realise the faults with the mini iPod. The battery life is very very very short compared to other similar products. This can become very irritating. Mine often has the tendancy to turn itself off when it likes, meaning i have to reset it. It doesn't mean i lose any tracks, but again, it is irritating. However, the mini iPod fulfills its goal of being great for travelling, especially if you have to make a journey everyday. It definately fills boredom. The downloading is simple and interesting at the same time. Apple also offer you their own iTunes store to purchase songs. The sliding keypad is great, however, the only thing in those terms that it lacks is an on/off botton. I don't think it was that necessary to exclude one of these, as you have to turn it off by holding down the pause button, and it often turns on again easily, especially if kept in a bag, due to a lack of the on/off button. Nevertheless, it is a great way of carrying around 1000 of your favourite tunes all at once ina colourful, small and ligh package (and the white headphones have become somewhat of a must have accessory!) Summary: Good product, great sound - but lacks a few important features
