Advantages: really fun features, good sound quality, quite alot of space but could always do with more.

Disadvantages: the battery power is a joke, not for long term use

I got one of these as soon as they were out, so of course i was really excited and it was my first mp3.
Took me ages to work out how to use the circular touch pad thing, although if i actually read the manual like a normal person this wouldn't have been a problem.
I love the colour and the size i thought it was really cute and i liked that i could now download and add music from my itunes to my pod.
I must say it took ages to download the music to my ipod, im not sure if its just because my computer is awful or because of the ipod but it took about half the day to get my tunes on there.
Also if you, like me have a slow, old computer then putting tunes onto your ipod will probably crash it a few times which is always fun...*cough*.

The most annoying thing that apple always seem to do as well, is once i got my wonderful ipod mini they released an even better even smaller ipod which made me very annoyed seeing as id paid alot for the mini and now theyd made a better model.
Also.
When i went on holiday i just wanted to listen to my ipod whilst we drove down to the ferry port which isnt too far away.
In about two hours the battery was less than half way which wasnt very good for me seeing as i still had quite a long way to go.
The battery also goes even faster if you have the light on so id advise turning the back light off and squinting to remember what you're listening to at night.

The ping pong game is really fun though and the music quiz game is great.
i love that you can put down notes and everything which is really useful although you have to go back onto the computer to add more or delete some.

Summary: really cute, great features, awful battery.
