Advantages: Well loved and well used

Disadvantages: Not the newest ipod in the world...

This was the first physical thing I ever bought with money I earned myself (on the Internet), and for that reason it has a kind of sentimental and independence aspect for me too.

Even though I bought it several years ago now (and I'm not even sure they make them like this any more?!), it still works just as well and I use it fairly often. My sister, on the other hand, has been through several different ipods because they've either broken or she wants the latest one, but I'm happy with my old mini! I no longer have the official ipod earphones for it, they stopped working a long time ago, and now I think I'm on my third or fourth pair (my current ones are only cheap but have lasted for a good year or so).

I can't remember exactly how much it was, but it was an internatiobal listing on ebay and I was so excited when I got it! I was quite into music between about 11 and 16, now I'm not a big fan of buying all the latest songs - if someone wants to give some to me fair enough, but I don't normally actively go looking. Hence why I haven't filled up all the space yet, and have a lot of old favourites in terms of songs!

It has basic functions - a game of breakout, a music quiz, the ability to shuffle songs - what more do you want?! I also dress it up with an ipod 'sock' and a leather case I have for it.
