Hi, i have the apple ipod 2gen 4gb version in green.. The device itself is a nice, cool looking piece of kit. It is small and lightweight which fits easily into my jeans pocket.

I mainly use my ipod when I am out running and connect it to the NikePlus running kit to track distance/speed etc. It is small enough to fit into the tiny pocket on my running tights, and is not heavy at all, I can hardly notice it in there. The sound through the earphones is great. When i have it on full sounds I cannot hear anything else arpund me.

I bought mine around two years ago at christmas time. The battery on it is still going strong, getting around 6hours continous play of music from it. I also charge ti nearly everyday so you would expect the battery to deteriorate but no its still great! Whe it was new, i remember maybe getting around 8hours battery life. But this does depend on if you are jsut listening to music or playing games ont here aswell.

The navigation with the scroll wheel is very easy and the buttons are also accessible and easy to use, even if i am wearing gloves.

The only downside from the device is that recently it has started "freezing" on me, but after a reset of toggling the lock button it sorts itself out. Also, the games are rubbish! very basic, but the again i didnt by an ipod to play games, i bought it to play music on!

I would definatley recoomened the apple 4gb ipod nano if you want a reasonable price device thats looks cool and plays great!
