I'm not going to talk about the specifications in detail since you can browse it through the apple website and this review is going to be a bit personal. My experience with iPods. - Crap~~~ I have to say that iPod is ok~, they are not that great to have. First iPod I had was iPod 3G and that iPod was ok until one day, the screen ... On first appearances the ipod nano looks sleek and dinky, it has a clever shuffle wheel option system which allows you to move quickly through its menu and its screen is clear and attractive. However I have not found the nano the easiest gadget to use. To start off with I found downloading itunes and moving all my songs across a real pain in the ... Read the complete review

Compact and elegant - I personally think the 2nd generation nano is better than its successors. it's just so functional. it weighs next to nothing. it's slim. it looks good. the best thing about this nano is how it feels in your hand. it's not too thin, not too thick - it's juct right. the edges are nicely rounded but not overly ... I got a pink one of these 18 months ago for my birthday and it is great. Mine is hot pink which is a bright colour and I have been able to buy matching accessories for it (FM transmitter, docking station) in the same colour. It also came with earphones (which are still intact even though I was worried they would be too delicate) and a connection ... Read the complete review

There has been a lot of generations of nano's released but in my opinion the 2nd generation is, by far, the best. I bought my 2nd generation Nano a good 2 years ago and it has served me reliably and consistantly for the duration I've had it. In my opinion, it was a bargin when I bought it as even though it made me broke, the sheer fact that ... Read the complete review

Everyone owns an ipod right? If not, why not? I've tried lots of different MP3 players over the years and have not yet found one to better the apple ipod. The model that I own and have used for over two years is this, the second generation 8gb nano. I bought my girlfriend the first generation nano (review to follow) quite a while before ... I must say, I prefer this to the iPod Touch to be honest, its smaller, more compact and so much easier to carry around and use. The thing with this is it plays your music like any mp3 player with a couple of extra features like photo viewing and games. The good thing about the iPod nano is that its perfect for taking with you when your ... Read the complete review

I've had my ipod nano for almost a year now. It was a Christmas present ast year. Never had an ipod before and being a bit of a technophobe wasn't sure i 100% 'got' them. I found the nano easy to use and the perfect size (about credit card and very slim)to slip into your pocket. I tend to use mine when out walking the dogs or riding my horses as ... I got one of these from my parents a couple of christmase's ago but in pink. It was one of the newer ones therefore it had more rounded edges and was slightly thinner than the traditional ipod nano. Its very lightweight and comes with a charger and the traditional white ipod earphones though these do not last long and arent as loud so ... Read the complete review

When compared to other available mp3 players and devices this ipod's operating system is fast in response, also finishig is too good. the interfacing provided for the user is simple. Also the headset is efficient, when fitted in ear complete external noise isolation is acheived, battery back up is best when compared to other devices. Also the device is light weight, charging time is less too. The device is reliable as expected. Huge inbuilt memory provided which is always unique to apple products. The sound quality is excellent.

I've had my nano for little over a year now and its durability is fantastic - i've even put it through the washing machine once and it's fine! I find that 8GB is the perfect amount for storing songs, don't waste money because you think you'll need more memory. The nano doesn't store music videos or programmes etc so if you're looking for ... Read the complete review

I never understood the big deal with ipods when they first came out, to me they were big, they were bulky and a waste of time when I had a perfectly good walkman at home so when I got bought an Apple ipod nano 8gb for my birthday I was pleasantly surprised to realise just how wrong I was. I've had my ipod now for around 2-3 years and it ... Read the complete review

The ipod Nano is the sleekest model i have seen out of all the ipod series. Apple has truly created something inspirational here! With its vast memory storage and space the ipod nano can store a vast range of music, documents and even pictures. It is also in colour which is an improvement from the ipod mini. It cannot play videos or movies which ... Read the complete review

Even though this is the old style of the iPod nano it is still a very good mp3 player. It allows easy sync of songs from iTunes which is very easy to use with easy uploading of songs from cds. Another cracking bit of kit from the guys over at apple. A decent size hard drive allows you to store more tracks than you will probably ever listen to in a weeks worth of use. The design is lovely with a sleek black finish. Sound quality is superb as always and the supplied headphones do a wonderful job as you would usually expect. The device is ... The 8gb iPod nano 2nd generation is one of the smallest flash based MP3 played around. The original nano (1st generation) was slightly thicker than this model with a silver back. The most recent nano (3rd generation) is a wider, shorter model to incorporate a widescreen. The 2nd generation nano is a perfect MP3 for my needs, its slim, ... Read the complete review

I bought mine second hand, with every part being the original part, and that was around 1 year ago, and it is still working in perfect condition, and I believe the person before me had it for a fair while, so for me the iPod has worked impecably!
