The new I pod Nano comes with either 4GB or 8GB of memory, the 4GB gives you round storage space of a thousand songs and the 8GB gives around two thousand song storage spaces. The difference in price is thirty pounds the lower memory I Pod is a hundred pounds and the higher GB is one hundred and thirty pounds. The extra thirty pounds in my opinion is defiantly worth it. I was given the Ipod Nano 3rd Generation for Christmas and I believe it cost about £99 from HMV. It's a really smart piece of kit, its elegant and the silver colour is pretty classy. Packaging: It comes in a box just big enough to fit the Ipod, the earphones and the USB cable to connect it to your computer. If I had the Ipod in its box it would still fit in my pocket! Got this for £60 on amazon thanks to dooyoo!! I used like £30 of amazon vouchers earned from dooyoo to get the ipod nano (3g) 4gb for £30 less than £90 the original sale price. Ok Im not a fan of ipods never have been and never will be. Apple are clever and stingy, you have to use itunes to put videos and stuff on the ipod, this was my first ipod ive had it for ages and put loads of my own movies on it already (not apples's!) The nano was attractive to me but not enough for a purchase due to rumours of reliability issues. Also they werent all that gr8 compared to other mp3 players. But this one seems to be totally free from all the stereo type that the other ipods recieved. From my experience, it just seems more robust, and not only that but it feels like its ful of quality, never has it frozen, its pretty fast at changing tracks, and best of all, it plays movies!!! As most of us know by now the apple iPod has absolutely thrashed the opposition in terms of Mp3 players. There is a reason for this. Really good quality sound is one reason. There are many other positive aspects, but one negative one is the media player software which you have to install, iTunes. It has a really good interface but it also does not let you share music with friends. Also when you install it again it will delete all your music. Things small things however are nothing compared to the great consumer friendly system of the apple iPod which makes it suitable for all ages and groups.
