My ipod is now 3yrs old and is still in great working condition! I brought this item with birthday money 3yrs ago to replace my old cheap MP3 around then it was a bit more expensive than other MP3s out at the time. It has great memory capacity allowing me to add numerous amounts of songs. Replacement ipod ear phones are too expensive though so would advice getting Gummy ones from JVC in different colours which work just as good but for more than half the price.

I would also recommend purchasing a protective cover for any ipod as this helps with scratches and if you happen to drop it on the floor can be a great at saver. Only downside to the apple range is that extras made by apple are expensive including purchasing songs from itunes, where i would advice that you purchase them from Amazon. The ipod also has a locking feature which is good if you are always turning things on without knowing.
