Tilt or turn iPod nano on its side, and you'll listen, watch, and play in new ways. You can flip through your album art with cover flow. Or, vertically speaking, see more albums and artists on the screen at one time. Pull hundreds of photos from your pocket and share them wherever you go. Hold iPod nano upright and see your photos in portrait view. Turn it on its side to see them in landscape. Your photos look beautiful in their proper aspect ratio on the vibrant, 320-by-240-resolution display. It's even easier to find the song you want to hear. Now you can view your album art in cover flow. Or just press and hold the center button to browse by album or artist. When you find the right song, press the center button to add it to your on-the-go playlist. Sometimes, people could all use a little unpredictability. And now you can shake to shuffle your music. Just give iPod nano a shake and it shuffles to a different song in your music library. You'll always be surprised by what you'll hear. Watching movies, TV shows, and videos is big fun on iPod nano. And the high-resolution picture looks crisp and vivid on the 2-inch widescreen display. So you can always have a little video with you. Newest Review: ... in such a small period of time. The cover flow feature is especially cute! But one thing is still common to my first model is ... more More Apple MP3 players

iPod Nano Chromatic 16GB **Edited to say, now had this for 6 months, and it is still going strong. I listen to it almost every day at work for hours. Still love it and recommend it. I bought a clear case for mine so it has no scatches on.** Well, I have been excited about this one arriving for a few weeks now. I have always had a Creative mp3 player, which I have been perfectly happy with, but when we go to Africa in a few weeks, our van apparently has an ipod connector, so I decided to change my existing mp3 for an apple ipod. Now firstly you need to know a little bit about my background. I can remember a work colleague buying an ... Read the complete review

The Apple iPod nano (4G) 8 GB is my first ever iPod. Before I purchased this I had cycled through a collected of cheap alternative MP3 players made by Sony, Phillips and a few other lesser known makes. While they did the job required I can honestly say that they were not a patch on the Ipod Nano. I bought it for the extra space when my 4GB Sony Walkman was full. Even with my whole music library (all at highest quality - 320 kbs), a whole series of American Dad and countless music videos, I am still only about halfway through the memory (which is actually closer to 15.5GB of free space than 16GB). It should suffice for most music listeners, if you plan to only ... Read the complete review

I was given a 16 GB iPod nano for Christmas in place of my now defunct MP3 player and am very glad that I was! Whereas my MP3 player could only hold around 200 songs before using up its full quota of space, this iPod can hold up to 4000 songs. Granted, I only have just over 400 songs on mine at the moment and am unlikely to ever get to the full capacity, but it's nice to know that there is that much space if I need it. Even for a totally new iPod user like me, it seems easy enough to use. To move through the menu, you run your fingertip round the central outer circle - one way for down, and the other way for up. A light touch will usually suffice or it can ... Read the complete review

With Apple now onto it's 4th Generation of the iPod Nano, I thought it was about time I treated myself to one. Emphasis on the word 'treated' as everything about the little package is a treat. Design & Appearence The design is, of course, the flawless standard iPod design with the all singing all dancing click wheel for navigation and all controls. The size of the new Nano is Apple's thinnest yet, whilst it's curved shape means more strength to bulk it up a little and prevent it from snapping (much like what was happening with the 2nd generation Nano's!) Apple have reverted to the narrow, longer design of the 1st and 2nd generation Nano's as opposed ... Read the complete review

Throughout life, I've been privileged to have a fantastic upbringing, a loving family, and a strong group of friends who have stuck with me through thick and thin. But all this counts for nothing, as now that I am the proud owner of an iPod Nano (once again I'd like to thank my girlfriend for gifting me said item). If I had to choose between a person, or my iPod, to be stuck on a desert island with (before you begin, lets just imagine iPods ran off of solar energy, and not electricity!), I'd be brave and say that the iPod would win, but only by the skin of its teeth! Only joshing. Clearly I'd choose a person. Much more fun. The iPod Nano though is ... Read the complete review
