Advantages: Stylish and colorful with lots of memory

From the second I received my red ipod nano as a surprise gift for christmas I loved it, not only does it look fantastic but is easy to use. I love the interface and bright colorful screen which displayed my album artwork perfecty. The new games were also quite fun to play on this ipod which I could play by just tilting the ipod in different directions. Also the shake to shuffle works perfectly but is more of a gimmick rather than a useful addition as I stopped using this after a couple of weeks.

I found the genius feature extremely useful. The ipod makes it very simple to set up playlists based on one song. The ipod automatically chooses the 25 songs most like the one you have selected, I didn't think this feature would actually work but I was proved wrong and still often use this feature when making up playlists.

Although I did find that when looking through my songs, as I moved my finger clockwise around the turn-dial it did not move as fast as I expected it to, meaning it took a rather long time for me to find a song starting with the letter T for example. The only other fault i found was that I could not charge my ipod any other way than connecting it by usb to my computer as this version of the ipod is incompatible with firewire. This meant that the speakers I had for my old ipod mini played the music on my ipod but did not charge it.
