Advantages: Great sound quality, great features

Disadvantages: Little on the pricey side, scratches easily.

I got this for Christmas and I think as far as mp3 players go I'll be sticking to ipods from now on.

They're incredibly easy to use, although I didn't use iTunes before I had the iPod I found that nice to use and easy to transfer my songs over to the ipod and get started using iTunes.

The sound quality on the iPod is superb, much better than any mp3 player I've had in the past. I've found that this is a problem listening to what people say as the headphones go so tight in your ears!

The genius feature is one of my favourites. Especially good if you've filled your iPod to bursting and want to listen to a particular genre. Just pick a song and away you go with 50 similar songs to match your mood.

I also like the fact that you can play videos. Especially good for me when I'm on a long train journey, although I did find that it drained the battery rather quickly.

I would recommend investing in a case as I would imagine that the player (especially the screen) scratches quite easily.

All in all I can't fault the player and no problems so far.
