Advantages: Not many, oh it's pretty

Disadvantages: Everything, sound mainly

I would avoid this like the plague.

My major gripes are, in no particular order.

Itunes - Itunes is a horrible piece of software, it's about as intuitive as a Rubiks Cube. I'm no virgin when it comes to computers, but this had me baffled for a long time. Then even after I worked it out I came back to it after a spell of not using it and still could not figure out what I needed to do. I wondered if I was just an idiot but then I spoke to a few friends and they also said they thought Itunes was extremely poor compared to Sony's interface.
Sound Quality - The sound quality is poor. In fact to test this I pulled my ancient 128mb MP3 player out of its dusty drawer, and the sound quality was better! Apple are making fools of us all.
Headphones - The above issue is compounded by the fact that the standard headphones are just abysmal. Music sounds tinny, compressed, like it's in mono, and like it's coming from miles away. Again I swapped with some fairly basic Sony headphones (they were about £10) and the quality was transformed, now it was deep, bassy, good treble, and crisp as a morning snowfall.
How easily it scratches - This thing scratches like there is no tomorrow, you buy one all shiny and pretty then put it in your pocket and it comes out looking like it has been savaged by a tiger. Maybe this is just because mine was in black, it probably wouldn't be so bad in lighter colours.
The price - Talk about paying for the name! We all know we can get a better sounding MP3 player, with more memory, for less money and yet we still choose Apple? Peer pressure perhaps? Going along with the herd?

I will not be buying another of these, I will be purchasing a Sony or a Zen.

Summary: Be a sheep and buy one of these

Welcome to Dooyoo. A good opinion but you fail to add in the fact that the Nano does have sound settings - your review/rant doesn't add this detail in. Neither do you mention the actual capacity it offers or the fact that you can customise your player. Most owners buy covers for theirs to protect their player - after all you don't get a cover for a mobile phone when you buy one so why should it be any different for an iPod?

More user experience would be good here to actually using this model from the installation point of view and a much clearer explanation for the downsides including the price you paid. If you update your review please message me,

Buyers need clear and in depth info good and bad on Dooyoo.
