good ipod a few downsides (Apple iPod Nano (4G) 8 GB)

GOOD THINGS:

This ipod is a big improvement from the last ipod nano (3g) as this is the 4g. The screen is massive for a small portable device but if you look at the ipod nano 3g the screen is very small. i have had this ipod for about 6-7 months now and i am really enjoying it as i have the ipod touch but i found its not best for listening to music portablly. This ipod can play videos so i bought every episode of little britian even the usa ones, from itunes. The video playback quality is good but itunes videos aren't the best. Also when you shake the ipod it switches to a random song. When you flip the ipod it comes up with all your albums so you can quickly switch to any album. I also heard the're making a touch screen ipod nano with cameras and touch screen so that should be a good thing to buy and review. The ipod its self is light and very slim, and if you turn it over the screen is actually arched. The ipod nano 4th generation has a genious feature which i think chooses a song you might want to listen to. (so does the ipod touch).

BAD THINGS:

I found out that with the old ipod nano the middle ring thing that you turn was easier to turn on the old ipod nano (i cant remember which one but i remember it's the fat one with a wide screen) than this ipod nano i am reviewing and it lags a bit as well which really gets on my nerves. Once i bought a case for it, like a clip on one and i couldnt get it off so i asked someone to do it for me and he picked up a screw driver and a hammer and started hacking away at it. He got it off but the ipod had loads of dents and scratches. Also i expected the ipod to have a built in speaker but when you use the spinny wheel thing it click and you can hear it without headphones so it must have a really small speaker. I have noticed my ipod playing the music by its self in my pocket which wastes the battery and when im going somewhere and im on a bus or something i take my ipod out of my pocket and realize its out of charge or there's a bit left to last me for a few minutes. Sometimes the shake random song feature gets on your nerves by switching to a random song when you dont want it to.
