I bought a iPod Nano for my girlfriend last Christmas as she has always wanted one and the first thing to note is that you can get these in a variety of different colours, for example pink, purple, black - I think there are about 8 different colours.

The screen is excellent, bright, clear and very resistant to the odd scratch. Despite the size watching back videos on the device is possible but not ideal. Something you can take advantage of on the train journey home from work if you get bored.

Build quality like all apple products is excellent, like i previously mentioned, the screen is very resistant to the odd scratch and the device will quite easily survive being dropped.

My girlfriend opted to buy some different headphones than those bundled with the ipod. Its just personal preference really, the Apple headphones are fine but you might want something different that you find more comfortable etc.

The iPod holds a lot of music, have more than enough space for my music collection but for those with a large collection there is a 16GB variation.

Summary: Another great product from Apple, does exactly what it says on the tin and more.
