The newest iPod Nano. I bought my personal blue iPod nano this year in January, after my old 3 generation was accidentally washed in the washing machine! I haven't been disapointed.

What is it and what can it do?
An iPod is basically a MP3 player that can play songs, games, and the newest generation nano can even play videos. The iPod is a portable song player.

How is it different from the old iPod nano and other iPods?
The 4th Generation nano ipod can play videos - something the other nano couldn't, and has a shake shuffle feature (see below for more info). The nano isn't the cheapest iPod available that is the shuffle, but is the cheapest that has a readable display that you can select songs on. The other iPods are larger and have more storage space, but the nano is ideal if you don't listen to music everyday, or have lower amounts of music.

Good points:
1-Looks good. This is a major advantage, the nano is available in several different colours depending on your personal taste and can be personalised if you get it direct from Apple.
2-Cheap. Ok so over £100 isn't necessarly cheap, but compare it to the other IPods and other range competitors and you will find for what it does the facilities are actually quite good.

Bad Points:
1-All your music has to be in I-Tunes to put it onto your I-Pod, which isn't a problem...just annoying if everything isn't. Your computer also need i-tunes. This can be annoying particually if you have a poor internet connection as you have to download i-tunes from the apple website.
2-The shuffle function is poor, really poor. Unless you want to look like an idiot who is frantically looking like they hate their music player you will never use it. It isn't very sensitive, meaning you have to really shake your ipod to make it shuffle, this doesn't look good and generally makes people think you are weird.

Summary: Great if you have a relativly small music collection and want to look quite cool
