Affordable, small compact and does its job well (Apple iPod Nano (4G) 8 GB)

Advantages: lightweight, easy to use, wide range of accessories available

Disadvantages: possibly too small for some people

I bought my girlfriend and Apple Ipod Nano for her birthday in May thinking for her it would be a handy gadget to own but not necessarily use every day, yet again on that score I was wrong.

as far as the functionality on iPods go they dont seem to vary that much except with the odd additional feature on each type, on the Nano my favorite feature is the ability to shuffle tracks by shaking the Nano, which comes in handy when she starts playing the Dirty Dancing sound track to get rid of it.

If you've got large hands you'll probably struggle with the Nano as it's name suggests it is quite small, it's long but thin which makes it slightly awkward to handle but not impossible.

The sound is clear and as always the menu's are incredibly simple to use like on all iPods along with there being a wide range of accessories on the market for the Nano (my personal favorite is the Nike + kit if you're a runner you'll love this).

Summary: Affordable product which does it's job well along with adding a few decent features.
