i have owned this product 8 times each time it has broken down and i have now a sony and in my opinion it is much better than the nano and to be honest it is better than any ipod so i would recomenned the sony over the i pod by miles and to be honest if you are looking at going for a ipod steer away and go to the sony centre and buy a sony mp3. the sony has a much better sound it has punchy bass perfect mid and sweet treble where as the nano has a harsh and tiresome sound no bass even with bassy headphones the mid is muddled and screechy treble . it takes ages for the tune to load where as the sony takes seconds to load .the nanos charger it cheap and flimsy and the sonys is a charge come usb so stay away from ipods at all costs.

Summary: sony rules over ipod everytime
